Whitney 2004 Biennial
The Whitney 2004 Biennial opens on March 11. Several photographers are included in this year's group of artists.
Alec Soth, Katy Grannan, Catherine Opie, Jack Pierson and Richard Prince are some of the artists who use photography as their primary medium. Of all the photographers, Grannan has perhaps had the most success crossing between the commercial and fine art worlds. The Yale-educated photographer has had two solo shows in New York, and her work has appeared in The New York Times Magazine, Jane and Details, to name a few.
